Winter Wishes Card
Hi all,
I hope the start of your 2018 has been a good one. I spent the first week sick, yuck! I’m so glad to finally be able to get the blog year started. I also survived the bombogenesis mother of all snow storms and frigid temperatures we had here in New England last week. So clearly a winter card is in order.

I love how cozy that snowman looks in his hat and scarf, don’t you? The cute coordinating patterned paper comes from an older Doodlebug collection called Polar Pals. I added a scalloped edged strip of card stock next to the patterned paper.

For the focal I used the Snowman from Lawn Fawn’s Making Frosty Friends. It’s a pretty old set, but those snowmen images are timeless. I also love the hat and scarf images included in the set, which are the perfect size for paper piecing which is what I did here. The great big sentiment comes from the Hand Lettered Winter Wishes set from Simon Says Stamp. I think the two sets pair pretty well together.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
