Valentines for Friends

Last week was a hectic one for me.  I wasn’t feeling well at the end of the week, hence the reason why there was no post on Thursday.  I’m glad to say I’m feeling much better and can be back to the regular schedule :).  Can you believe Valentines is next week already?  Here’s a set of small 3×3 cards that are perfect to give to friends or co-workers.  Who says Valentines have to be only for significant others?  Valentines day, to me, is about all sorts of love, including the love and appreciation we have for our friends.  So share a little Valentine cheer with your friends with cards like these.

These cards are easy peasy to make.  I used a sheet of cream card stock trimmed to 6 x3 in., and scored and folded at 3 in.  I cut out a heart from brown patterned paper and added the glittery heart on top.  These glittery hearts have been in my stash forever.  They are perfect for small projects like these.  I trimmed a small piece of patterned paper and ran it through my Fiskars scalloped border punch. The papers are leftover pieces from last year’s Bo Bunny Crazy Love collection.  Finally I stamped the sentiment in dark brown ink using Papertrey Ink’s stamp set Wonderfully Whimsical.

By the way the total purchase amount for last week (week 5) was: $0.

Thanks for stopping by!
