Train Father's Day Card
With Father’s Day fast approaching I thought I’d share a Father’s Day card with you today.
I started out with that awesome patterned paper from Old World Travel collection by Carta Bella. I’ve been trying to follow the footsteps of Kristie from the blog The Best Things In Life Are Pink. She has this series, where she takes one 6×6 paper pad and creates a whole bunch of cards with it until she finishes it all up. So I’ve been trying to do the same with this collection from Carta Bella, making a bunch of masculine cards including Father’s Day cards. I’m not as quick as she is or as elaborate in my sketches, but it does feel good to make the most use out of a 6×6 pad.
For the focal I turned to my trusty Past Times Hero Arts stamp set and some brown ink. The sentiment comes from the Masculine Motifs set by Papertrey Ink. I used my circle and stitched circle dies to cut the panels, but them together and this card was done.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
