TN Vacation Page
Plugging away on the Vacation Scrapbook Album. I used this Let’s Scrap Sketch for today’s page.

The center area was a bit too much for me, so I adjusted it a bit and came up with this.

I love that floral paper strip I used along the bottom as well as an accept on the journaling. It’s a gorgeous paper from Paper Wishes April 2011 Personal Shopper Scrapbooking Kit.

For the title I used a tag from my stash of tags. It was the perfect color and size. I added some brads to add some interest to the handwritten title. For the journaling block I took a piece of white card stock, wrote my journaling and then used antique linen distress ink to tame down the brightness of the white card stock. I wanted to bring up some of the color and design from that floral strip on the bottom, so I cut a small strip and used the honor multi-shaper punch to create the decorative edge.

I used the same punch to create the border along the bottom. Finally I punched out 3/4 inch circles and attached these peach colored flower brads that I’ve had in my stash for a while as well.
It’s a simple layout but I think that bit of floral paper and the multi-shaper punch really added the pizzazz that I needed for this page.
Hope you enjoyed!
