Thank You Fall Leaf Card
It’s great to be back posting after dealing with a long week of no power thanks to super storm Sandy! Other than some minor tree damage, we weathered the storm fairly well. Although the inconvenience of no power on cold nights was significant, I know it could’ve been a lot worse. So since I’m feeling so very thankful to be back to my regular routines, here is a Thank You card for ya!
I created this card using materials and the stamp set from the Sun-Kissed Autumn kit from StampTV.
For the focal leaf image, I first stamped it and colored it on another piece of white card stock then cut it out and glued it onto the whole stamped image on the ivory card stock. I used Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies to cut the focal image and the brown card stock behind it.
For the sentiment I used Hero Arts Essential Messages stamp set. I just love the large bold font on this set of sentiments. I added the stitched brown ribbon for some texture and the card was done.
Sandy’s strong winds took most of our fall leaves from the trees earlier than expected. But all the beautiful autumn leaves on this card allow me to hold on to Fall’s beauty for just a bit longer.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
