Spooky Halloween Card
Hi all,
Today I have a spooky scene card created with goodies from My Favorite Things.

This one was a lot of work. I knew I wanted to use the Spooky Sweets stamp set and to create a scene with it. So I started by stamping the pumpkins with the faces, the tree, bats, and moon onto white card stock and cut them out with the coordinating dies. To create a spooky feel I knew I had to ink the card stock with a combination of blues and purples of distress inks. While I love ink blending when I see other artists do it online I don’t get to do it often, so getting my inks to blend took some time, but I was so happy with the results once it was done.

Then I stamped the stars from the same set with white pigment ink. But once I put all the elements together on the card I still had a space after the second pumpkin that kept bugging me. What to do? The other pumpkin stamps in the set were too large for that space. I turned to another MFT stamp set, Witch Way Candy where I found that slimmer pumpkin. I stamped it, colored it in with copics, and added the boo sentiment. Finally I stamped and embossed the Happy Halloween and added a bit of Wink of Stella to the moon.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
