Second Take on February Birthday Card
Here’s another take on the February Birthday card I shared on Tuesday. The previous one had more of a vintage romantic feel, this one is more fun and modern.
For this one I started out with the kraft card stock for the card base. The hearts patterned paper works for both masculine or feminine with the combination of reds and pinks but also grays and blues.
For the focal I used the Papertrey Ink Birthday Classics: February set again. This time I stamped it onto a die-cut paper with an ombre color pattern. The scalloped rectangle was created using Blueprints Tag Builder 3 from My Favorite Things, a great collection of dies, many Valentine or love themed. I added some die-cut hearts to which I added shimmer with my Wink of Stella pen. I also used some red sequins to finish off the embellishing.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
