Scrapbook Sunday: Winter Wonderland
Happy Sunday! One of my goals over the holiday break was to spend some time scrapbooking. I hadn’t scrapbooked in about eight months or so. I was so excited to get back to playing with my scrapbooking goodies. So I’m happy to announce that Scrapbook Sunday blog posts are back. I’d left off eight months ago working on a 2004 album. I know, just a tad bit behind. So today I have a winter page with my daughter when she was 4 years old.
My go to patterned papers for scrapbook are the Hot Off the Press collections. I just love their paper designs. This collection came as part of the November 2014 Personal Shopper kits. They are an awesome monthly kit filled with papers, embellishments, and all sorts of other goodies. I stopped my subscription because I just didn’t have the time to use them before the next collection came. But you can also purchase some of the kits individually.
To embellish the kit also came with die-cuts from the Winter Wishes Artful Card kit, which match the papers perfectly. That’s where this adorable penguin comes from. The kit also included some snowflake die-cuts, which I placed behind the penguin. Then I used some silver stickles to add some shimmer to the snowflake and to the earmuffs on the penguin.
For the title I went into my deep stash and pulled some older dazzles, which are these awesome stickers. I backed the bottom part with some blue paper and added the wonderland sticker on top to complete the title “Winter Wonderland”. Other embellishments included some swirl ribbon at the bottom of one of the photos, also included in the kit and the page was done.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
