Scrapbook Sunday: Snow Play
I had another all day scrapbooking crop yesterday. It’s the most wonderful experience to have nothing else on my mind for an entire day but scrapbooking! Today I’m sharing what I believe is the last page of the 2012 album, dare I say it!
I was really surprised how well these photos went with the Robin’s Red paper collection from Hot Off the Press, a collection that I just love. That entire gorgeous border on the left is already on the paper. I matted the photos with coordinating paper from the collection.
For embellishments I used MFT’s Let it Snowflake Dies and added some silver brads to the centers. I inked the flakes a bit with Memento Rich Cocoa so that they stood out a bit more from the page.
For the title I created the mat using one of the frame die-cuts from the December 2013 Personal Shopper Kit from Hot Off the Press, as a template, and cut the shape from the patterned paper. For the inside I used Spellbinders Grommet Tag dies to cut the shape and added two larger silver brads. I stamped the title using Lawn Fawn’s Jessie’s ABC’s and Memento Rich Cocoa ink. It took me a while to finished this page because I fussed so much with placement, but I was really happy in the end how it turned out.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
