Scrapbook Sunday: Playful Primas
Happy Sunday Everyone,
Today’s page takes us back to the 2004 album I started working on a few weeks ago. This page features my daughter and her two little cousins when they were much younger than they are now.
It seems they are pretending they are on some kind of train or bus together. The one in front is my daughter at age 3 1/2. “Primas” means cousin in Spanish. I liked the wring of the two p’s on the title. This gorgeous background paper comes from the April 2011 Personal Shoppers Scrapbooking kit from Paper Wishes. As I’ve mentioned before, I used to get these kits, which are absolutely wonderful. I collected so much stuff though that I had to stop the kits just so that I can catch up with all that I’ve collected.
These flowers are from the Playful Flowers 3-d Papier Tole. They are die-cuts that you stack on top of each other to create this cool 3-d effect. The butterflies are double-stick paper-pieced butterfly dazzle stickers. These have adhesive on both sides, so you can add glitter or flock in whatever colors you like to create the right butterfly embellishment that will match your page.
For the title I turned to my trusty Silhouette SD die-cutting machine. I mainly use the Silhouette to create titles for my scrapbook pages. I have all the fonts available on my computer and I can cut out whatever size letters I need on whatever color paper I have. It sure beats having to have all sorts of alphabet dies or alphabet sticker sheets. For the title I added glitter to the two little dazzle butterfly stickers.
I hope you had a great weekend and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thanks for stopping by!
