Scrapbook Sunday: Nature Walk

Hi all,

So we survived the Blizzard of 2013!!! We did the last of the digging out this morning.  My back and legs are paying for it now, but our snow blower died on us yesterday, so we had no choice but to use our shovels.  The roads are still pretty bad.  And my daughter all of a sudden has a four day weekend.  At least I got to do some scrapping in the midst of all the blizzard clean up.

Last winter was not as bad and we were able to go on nature walks just to get out of the house.  We explored a number of parks in our area that awe otherwise did not know existed.  The paper I used is pretty old.  I believe it’s from the first kit I ever got from Paper Wishes.  It already has those blocked areas so it makes it really easy to layout a page like this one with lots of photos.

For the title I turned to my Silhouette SD and used some brown card stock.  I love the Silhouette for titles because you can use so many fonts and create letters just the right size that you need.

All the embellishments come from the Great Outdoors Dazzle stickers.  It had the perfect elements for this nature page.  Even though we didn’t see any deer or moose in our walks, there certainly are deer in our area, and they add to the outdoor feel of the page.

I hope you enjoyed todays project.  Thanks for stopping by!
