Scrapbook Sunday: Jersey Shore
Hi all,
Tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday. She’s turning 13! She’s had a great birthday weekend starting with a sleepover with 7 of her closest friends on Friday night and her first professional manicure this evening. I took her to a local fancy spa place. She loved it! So of course I’m going to feel a little nostalgic about her younger years which brings me to today’s page, taking us back to the year 2004.

I just love those big brown eyes. She has always had the best facial expressions. For this page I used HOTP’s Little Prints and Patterns papers. I still have a few sheets left from this collection and thought the pink went well with the pink in her outfit.

For embellishments I turned to my stash of flowers and brads, combining different types of flowers to create large embellishments.

For the title I used my Silhouette to cut out the letters. I created the banner shape using Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 1 dies. Other decorative elements include the gingham ribbon and the green brads. It took me a while to figure out the layout, but I really like how it turned out.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
