Scrapbook Sunday: I Like Pie
Today’s Scrapbook Sunday is all about my daughter’s first experience baking her own pie. Check out the page below.
I’ve had that red scalloped card stock in my stash literally for years. I finally found a home for it on this page. I really liked the way it worked out with the browns in the patterned paper which comes from the Use ‘Em for Anything Dots & Stripes collection from HOTP.
My daughter always randomly says “I like Pie”. Finally I was able to incorporate this little tidbit into a scrapbook page using it here as the title. I created the title using letter stickers which come in another great HOTP collection called Kyla’s Tapestry Collection. They were the perfect color and size for this title. For embellishments throughout the page I used the Kitchen Scrapbooking Dazzles. I backed different elements with coordinating red card stock and added them to the page. The “Kiss the Cook” journaling on the photo also comes from the same dazzle collection. It’s such a fun collection of embellishments.
You can see here the great border that is also part of that dazzle collection. Finally I added some journaling and embellished with another dazzle and was done.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
