Scrapbook Sunday: Hot Chocolate
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today’s Scrapbook Sunday page features something we all wanted to have today here in CT after last night’s snow fall, some yummy hot chocolate.
As you might recall I’m working on two Scrapbook Albums right now, one for this year 2012, and one for 2004. This page is for the 2004 one, capturing one of her favorite things to do when she was 3 years old after a cold day in the snow, drinking some hot chocolate. The papers for this page come from a big DCWV Christmas paper stack. I got this stack almost new at a tag sale at my local scrapbook store. I still have tons of paper. The blues on this paper went very well with the blue in the photo. That border on the right hand side with all the sweet images of the polar bears is part of the background paper!
Technique in this page came in when creating this title page. I used my Silhouette SD for the letters. I stamped on the top and bottom edges this icicle looking border, which comes from HOTP’s Edges and Borders stamp set. I then added silver stickles to create a bit more of the icicle feel.
Silver swirls and snowflakes throughout the page come from Winter Scrapbooking Dazzles also from HOTP.
That’s it for me today. Hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
