Scrapbook Sunday: Harry Potter
Welcome to what I hope will be a new weekly post, Scrapbook Sunday. I’ve been concentrating so much on card making lately I’ve been neglecting my scrapbooking. So I hope with this weekly post I’ll get more of my scrapbook pages done. I’m a bit behind and am still working on our 2011 summer vacation album. Last summer we spent two weeks in Florida visiting a number of their parks. Our all time favorite was the Harry Potter World at Universal. Here’s one of the pages of that trip.
Isn’t that background paper gorgeous? It’s from Creative Imaginations. This paper made it very easy to put this page together. At the very entrance of the Harry Potter World you’ll find Hogsmead Station and just the very front of the famous train. The patterned paper went perfectly with our photos of this part of the park.
Other than the paper, my next favorite part of this page is the title. I searched for a Harry Potter font and used it with my Silhouette to cut out the letters. The patterned paper behind the letters is from my scrap stash. The color worked perfectly with this page.
A journaling tag and some ribbon were the last touches and I had a finished page in no time.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inaugural post of Scrapbook Sunday! See you soon.
