Scrapbook Sunday: Halloween Pirate Girl
Today I have a Halloween page featuring Halloween day of 2004. I really enjoyed putting this page together.
The patterned paper includes those beautiful borders and the pumpkins and candies along the bottom. It was the perfect patterned paper for these fun photos of my daughter in her pirate costume.
For the title I used sticker letters. These as well as the papers are from my stash of things purchased at a tag sale. I’m fortunate to have an independent paper crafting store still open in my area. The store owner hosts two great tag sales a year where all of us can sell our goodies at the store and whatever we earn is used as store credit to get new goodies. Love it! So these are all finds from one of those tag sales.
The one embellishment I added to the page are those fun pumpkins. These are dazzles from the Scrapbooking Halloween collection from Hot Off the Press. I’ve had these forever too and they were just perfect for this page. I placed the sticker onto the patterned orange paper and then gently cut around all of the edges of the sticker. It is a bit time consuming but totally worth the look.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
