Scrapbook Sunday: Frappuccino!
The last two Sundays were pretty busy around here. So I am thrilled to be back today with another Scrapbook Sunday. Still slowly making my way through that Vacation 2011 Album. This page documents my daughter’s very first frappuccino. She was bouncy and giddy for hours after the huge sugar rush she had with this drink
The beautiful pattern paper comes from Paper Wishes Personal Shopper Kit for April 2011. The gorgeous flowers, butterflies and scalloped edges are all part of the paper. So I didn’t have to do very much to put this page together.
For the floral border along the bottom of the photo I used the Playful Flowers 3-d Paper Tole Die-cuts from Hot Off the Press. These are thin die-cuts that come with multiple layers so that you can create a 3-d effect. They match perfectly with this collection of papers.
For the title I used die-cut letters that I’ve had for ages in my stash. The original color is more of a pastel pink. To darken them a bit I used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and they match the other pink on the page much better. Finally, I added some journaling with other pieces from the same collection. I used the Spellbinders Labels 4 dies to cut the two pieces for the journaling.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
