Scrapbook Sunday: Fall Harvest Season
Today’s page was one of my favorites from my day-long scrapfest a few weeks ago.
The purple in that barn wall in the photo matched perfectly with the purple on the patterned paper. Once I made that match the rest came together pretty easily. The paper is from my stash, so I can’t recall where it’s from, but it also comes with the golden yellow center and that lovely scalloped border.
For embellishments I added these Autumn Leaves from Hot Off the Press. I inked them a bit to mute the colors somewhat, and anchored them with the brad. This mirrored nicely the cluster of leaves that was already part of the paper on the upper corner.
To this corner I just added the button and some twine. Finally I used some sentiment strips to create the Fall Harvest Season title. These come from the Autumn/Thanksgiving Almost Done Scrapbooking kit from Hot Off the Press. These are older kits, but like all good paper crafters I throw nothing away, and they worked perfectly with this page.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
