Scrapbook Sunday: Dancing in the Rain
Scrapbook Sunday is back today with a blast from the past, 2004 to be precise. Yes, I’m still working on that scrapbook album, slowly making progress.
These are some of my favorite photos of my daughter and I being playful together. She was such a silly goose at that age. For the papers I turned to one of my Personal Shopper kits. I used the Pretty Little Posies paper pack from Hot off the Press which was included in the January 2014 kit.
For the title I pulled some very old die-cut letters from my stash. I used the tag from the Pretty Posies Die-cut sheet that also came in the kit. The die-cuts also included that lovely banner you see across the top of the page.
The kit also includes a number of embellishments. I used this bird clip and tied the ribbon around it. I used glossy accents to glue the metal clip onto the page. It’s probably about the best glue to use for a heavier embellishment like this one.
Finally I added the stitched burgundy ribbon and the three die-cut buttons. I added some brads to the centers and that was it!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
