Scrapbook Sunday: Crazy Mouse Ride
We finally caught a break in this terrible heat wave, which means I can sit in my craft room (which is not air conditioned) for longer than a few minutes and could make a scrapbook page for you all today.
Today’s page is about a ride my daughter and I went on during our vacation last year in San Diego at a local fair. The top photo was taken by the ride and purchased, the bottom one was taken by my husband. The funniest thing is my hair. What I love about this page is that it looks as fun as the ride itself was. The other great thing about this page is that it’s totally made with stash and memorabilia. The background paper is from my stash of goodies purchased a while back at a tag sale.
That title and little mouse were part of the cover of the photo pocket in which the first photo was placed when we purchased it. I just cut the two pieces apart.
The Laugh and Giggle conversation bubbles come from a whole 12×12 sheet that has a bunch of conversation bubbles. I just cut these two out and added them to the page with glue dots for a bit of dimension. For the journaling I just cut a strip of white card stock following the same shape as the title and used a red sharpie marker to write about the experience. Oh, and those 3 strips of paper on the top corner, scraps that were on top of my desk from another project. It’ll be so much fun to relive this experience every time we look at this page.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
