Scrapbook Sunday: Brushing My Teeth
Today’s Scrapbook Sunday page takes us back to 2004 and my daughter learning how to brush her teeth when she was a toddler.
Isn’t she adorable? The papers come from the Busy Scrappers Solution Vintage Papers from Hot Off the Press. I went off the her purple pajamas when I was searching for papers to use. But then I wasn’t quite sure what to do about the layout. So I went in search over at the Paper Wishes site and found this layout. It was perfect for scraplifting.
For the journaling and title I used the Journaling stamp set from HOt Off the Press. It’s an older stamp set, but it’s super versatile for creating all sorts of journaling blocks. The lines and swirly embellishment come from this stamp set. For the title I used Lawn Fawn’s Jessie’s ABC’s. I just love this alpha set. I then inked both pieces with Milled Lavender distress ink.
For embellishments I added that fantastic ribbon and the three brads at the bottom of the journaling. That ribbon was a lot of fun. Originally, it is twice as wide as you see there. I folded it and glued it onto the page, then with the remainder of the ribbon I created the bow and glued it on top. I think it adds a bit of elegance, don’t you? I also added a little bit of sheer purple ribbon to the top of the title.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
