Scrapbook Sunday: Baking Together
I’m finally back with another Scrapbook Sunday. For today’s project I printed my photos using the sepia effect on iphoto. I wanted the photos to match my vintage style papers.
Today’s page is for my 2004 album. Although that wasn’t very long ago, some time in the future this page will be a vintage memory for my daughter of spending time with her paternal grandmother baking little bite size yuca bread. The papers come from the Heritage Backgrounds paper pack from HOTP.
All of the embellishments come from the Kitchen Scrapbooking Dazzles. I backed each sticker with coordinating patterned paper from the same collection. I backed the recipe card dazzle with white card stock and inked it with Antique Linen distress ink so that it would match more with the colors on the page. Instead of a recipe I used it for journaling.
The words “Baking Together” are also part of the same dazzle collection. It was perfect for this page. the label shape is part of the paper collection which includes a sheet of tags and labels ready to cut out.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
