Scrapbook Sunday: 7th Grade
It’s hard to believe that my daughter will be starting high school in the Fall. So I’ll postpone the inevitable by focusing on her first day of 7th grade, when high school still seemed far away.
This page is a perfect example of using your stash. All of the papers are left overs from older collections of Hot Off the Press papers.
I created the title using cut outs from the School Paper pack to spell out 7th Grade.
For the school themed embellishments I used TPC Studios I Love School stamp set. I bought this set specifically so I could use it for scrapbook pages. I stamped the pencils onto the yellow paper and colored in the eraser with a marker. I stamped the stack of books on coordinating patterned paper. The Back To School framed sentiment was stamped right onto the blue patterned paper and I paper pieced the smiley face.
I’ve had that round tag in my stash forever. I finally pulled it out and stamped the apple. I used sharpie markers to color it in. And then used some twine to create the bow on top.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
