Scrapbook Sunday: 50's Girl

Hi all:

Scrapbook Sunday is back thanks to my spending a whole day at a scrapbooking crop yesterday at my local papercrafting store.  Believe it or not, it was my first crop and I absolutely loved it.  Eleven hours of nothing but scrapbooking!  So the next few weeks you’ll get to see some of my creations from yesterdays event.  Today we go to Halloween of 2012.

I couldn’t help but giggle the whole time I was creating this page.  They are just so silly!  This particular year my daughter didn’t want to be anything spooky. She was going to a Halloween party and wanted something different.  We found this cute 50’s costume and she fell in love.  That awesome paper is called  Haunted Twilight from the Witches Brew collection by Reminisce.  I found it at a tag sale with more coordinating papers from that collection.  It has a bit of a shimmer to the paper and the design is just awesome.

For the title I used sticker letters from the same collection.  Love those spider webs on these letters.  I created that banner shape with coordinating papers and used my Signo White gel pen for the stitching lines.

The collection also has a great sheet of journaling stickers like this one.  I just used my white gel pen again for the journaling and I was done.  Easy peasy.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
