Religious Christmas Card
It’s time to start sharing some holiday projects. Today’s card is all about the reason for the season.
I recently became fascinated with Papertrey Ink stamps. They make beautiful stamp sets for all kinds of occasions including the set I used for this card, called Beautiful Blessings: Holiday. It’s full of large verses like this one that get to the heart of what the Christmas season is all about.
For patterned papers I used the Santa Claus 6×6 pad from My Mind’s Eye. It’s an older collection, but I still had quite a bit left. The deeper reds and greens in this collection are perfect for these sentiment stamps, instead of the more whimsical feel of the brighter red and greens typically used for holiday projects. I stamped the large sentiment onto the card stock and used my distress ink to tone down the brightness of the card stock. Those cute little hollies are from the Winter Gifts stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the image on the patterned paper and colored in the berries with a marker.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
