Pleasant Trees Card

Hi all,

Today I return to fall themed cards even though it’s been feeling like summer around here, hot and humid.

Today’s card features Gina K. Designs goodies.  I know I’ve kind of been on a Gina K. Design kick, but I found the remains from last year’s Fall Kit and I wanted to use more of it up, so here we are.  The papers come from the Falling For You StampTV kit.  I used Dark Chocolate card stock for the card base.

The tree image comes from the Falling For You Stamp set.  It’s a great image to paper piece, which is what I did here.  I added a bit of ground cover with a copic marker.  I used copper brads on the corners of the image and on the sentiment piece as well.

I love the sentiment on this one and it fits perfectly with the tree image.  I cut it out using The Spellbinders Grommet Tags dies.  I also added some ribbon behind the sentiment for some texture.
