Pink & Blue Mother's Day Card
The Mother’s Day cards continue today with this pretty card.
I love it when I can coordinate the pattern on my patterned paper and the focal image, like I was able to do with this card. The focal area are dazzle stickers from Hot Off the Press, backed with patterned paper. I then used some Antique Linen distress ink to tone down the whiteness of the card stock.
Here’s a close up of that focal area. The great thing about dazzles is that you you can use them on any paper, cut them out, and then layer them together. It’s a great way to use those bits and pieces of patterned paper that we all hate to get rid of.
The sentiment comes from an MSE wood block stamp. It’s a great font that can be used for all kinds of designs. I stamped it using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
