More Easter Cards
Can you believe Easter is just barely a week away?! I just figured that out today while at Target and started buying things for Easter Baskets. I feel so behind. But it’ll get done. So here’s another Easter car for you all.
I typically would not have chosen red as a color for an Easter card, but I just love this floral patterned paper and the red elements just go so well with it. I’m still working my way through the old Floral Ultimate Pack from Hot Off the Press, working away at that stash.
I stamped the cross with red ink and then cut it and the scalloped oval mat with my Cuttlebug and Spellbinder Nestabilities dies. The image and sentiment are from Our Craft Lounge stamps. Very nice quality clear stamps. I’ve really been enjoying using them for these Easter projects.
As far as my purchasing for this week, I had to buy some more adhesive and blank white cards. But it’s definitely getting hard to not shop for anything more. I’m dying to buy some papers for wedding cards and so many cool stamp companies are having new releases at this time. The temptation is incredibly strong. But I have been participating in more challenges and other opportunities on blogs to win prizes. And it has paid off! I won a new Lawn Fawn set this week for commenting on the blog during their March Inspiration Week. The set is called Flying By and it’s so adorable. I can’t wait to get in the mail.
Purchasing total for this week: $11.68.
Thanks for stopping by!
