Merry Christmas Sentiment Card
Today’s card demonstrates how a beautiful sentiment can be the focal of your card.
The papers for this card come from an old DCWV 12×12 pack of holiday papers. I’ve been using it to create cards this season, and I still have so much left still.
The focal on this card is of course that gorgeous sentiment which comes from the Grand Holiday Greeting stamp set from My Favorite Things. These are awesome quality clear stamps. I stamped the sentiment with Rhubarb Memento ink, one of my favorite red inks. After I stamped the message I couldn’t help myself and still wanted to add some more, so I stamped those little ornaments which come from the Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamp set. This set is all sentiments but it includes tiny images like these to embellish your sentiment. I added a bit of glitter with my Sakura Clear Star glitter pen. To cut the focal into the label shape I used Spellbinders dies.
The finishing touch on this card is that red bow on the top. Easy peasy to do.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanks so much for stopping by.
