Lawnscaping Challenge #93: Falling For You
Today I am playing along with the Lawnscaping Challenge #93.
I’d begun to play with my holiday stamps, but I was more than happy to pull out my fall goodies and play with those just a bit longer.
I started out with Neenah Dessert Storm card stock for my card base. This is my first time using this kind of kraft card stock and I really like it. For the focal I used the Sweater Weather stamp set and coordinating dies and paired it with the fox from Into the Woods stamp set. The trees are already looking pretty bare in my neck of the woods so I wanted to create a fall tree with just a few leaves left on it. I stamped the tree and leaves onto white card stock with a variety of inks and then die-cut them.
The patterned paper I used to create the grassy hill actually comes from the Fa la la 6×6 pad. It was a tiny piece I had left from when I last used that paper pad and it was perfect for creating my little hill. I used distress inks to color in the sky. For the fox I used Memento Black ink to stamp him onto white card stock and used my copics to color him in. Finally I stamped the sentiment right onto the kraft card stock. As a finishing touch I used my wink of stella to glitter up the leaves.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
