Lawnscaping Challenge #52: Stamp a Scene
Today I’m sharing my submission for the next Lawnscaping Challenge #52: Stamp a Scene. Check it out!
I used Critters in the Burbs for all of the images and Jessie’s ABC’s for the sentiment. With Easter coming earlier this year I thought I’d use this challenge to get started on some Easter cards. The bunny in the Critters in the ‘Burbs set is perfect as an Easter bunny. Don’t ya think?
First I used Broken China distress ink to color the sky. I wanted to create a nice light and bright color for the sky. I paper pieced the tree, bunny, and the grassy hills. I used copics to color the leaves of the flowers and the butterfly. I used a Stamping Up Positively Pink ink, which I believe is retired, to stamp the solid flowers. I added a bit of glitter to the center of the flowers and to the butterfly with the Sakura Pink Star Gelly Roll pen. For the papers I turned to some of my oldies collection of Hot Off the Press papers.
I hope you enjoyed todays project. Thanks for stopping by!
