Lawnscaping Challenge #122: Watercoloring

Hi all,

Today I’m joining the Lawnscaping challenge again.  This time their theme is water coloring.  I used an oldie but a goodie Lawn Fawn stamp to create a thank you card.

I just love how this turned out.  I started with Neenah solar white card stock and some patterned paper from my stash.  Then I stamped the flower and leaves from the Flutter by set onto watercolor paper with Versafine black ink.  My water color medium were distress markers.  I haven’t used these in a very long time.  It was fun to bring them out and play.

For the sentiment I used the “thank you” from Our Friendship Grows stamp set.  It looked a little lonely, so I added the “so much” from Simon Says Stamp’s Winter Wishes stamp set. I used my Lil ‘Inker dies to cut out the stitched panel and that was it.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
