Lawnscaping #57: Bling It!
Hi All,
I got a chance to play again with the Lawnscaping Challenge this week. The challenge: to bling it!

I managed to create a graduation card with some bling on it.

I used Gina K. Designs Dark Chocolate card stock for the card base. The patterned paper comes from Use ‘Em For Anything Dots & Stripes from Hot Off the Press.

The owl comes from Critters in the Forest from Lawn Fawn. I used the new coordinating dies to cut him out. I have to say, I absolutely love these dies. To color him in I used my new set of Prismacolor pencils. My friends at work gave me a gift card to AC Moore and I had a coupon. So I was able to get a nice 72 pencil set for very very cheap. The graduation hat comes from the Hats Off to You set from Lawn Fawn. I colored it in with copics and added the gold stickles for the bling part of the challenge. The sentiment also comes from the same stamp set. Finally, I added the two large brown brads. I cut the legs out and struggled a bit to figure out how to glue them to the card stock. I used glue dots for one and glossy accents for the other.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
