Java Nice Day Birthday Card

Hi all,

I have one more card for you using the Simon Says Stamp October kit.  The November kit has already been announced, but while I wait for it to arrive I’ll keep playing with the October one.

This is the perfect birthday card for your coffee loving friends and family members.  I recently made a similar one for a friend whose birthday was a couple of weeks ago.  I used the papers from the kit for the patterned paper and to paper piece the coffee cup.  I stamped the “java great day” onto the center of the cup with brown ink and used a brown copic marker to color in the coffee inside the cup.

For the birthday sentiment I used the Simon Says Stamp Happy set.  It was great to be able to bring in some of my other SSS stamps to play along with the kit.  Finally I added the sequins that come in the kit and my card was done.
