January Birthday Card
Today I have a winter birthday card to share with you. What I love about this card is how you can be specific with your birthday wishes for those who have a winter birthday.
This past week I decided to go back to my January kits from the last couple of years from Simon Says Stamp and play with the many left over patterned papers and card stock that I still had and I was able to create a whole bunch of winter themed cards including this one.
For the focal area I used the deep blue crepe ribbon behind the sentiment panels. I love how it coordinates with the darker blue snowflakes on the patterned paper and adds some texture to the card. The sentiment comes from the Birthday Classics: January set from Papertrey Ink. I stamped with dark blue ink onto white card stock and then used my oval dies to die-cut the white panel as well as the scalloped panel behind it.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
