Ice Cream All Occasion Card SSS August 2014 Kit

Hi all,

Today I have a fun card I created using Simon Says Stamp August 2014 kit.

I just love the stamp set included in this kit called Ice Cream Dream.  The patterned papers come from Bo Bunny’s Lemonade Stand 6×6 paper pad, which is included in the kit.

For the focal image I stamped the ice cream onto the water color paper included in the kit.  The kit comes with two distress markers, but I wanted to use different colors so I used my own distress inks and markers in Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo.  I then fuzzy cut it out and foam taped it to the card.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the sentiment.

Finally I had this lime green polka dot ribbon in my stash which I thought went perfectly with that background paper, so I created a bow and attached that to the card with some glue dots.
