Happy Fall Owl
For today’s card I pulled deep into my stash for some older goodies to make a fresh new card.
Doesn’t that cute owl just get you into the fall spirit? I started out with some kraft card stock for the card base. I find kraft colored card stock to work really well for fall themed cards. The patterned paper was a scrap from my stash. When you have such gorgeous paper you have to keep every bit of it and use it all up.
That adorable owl image comes from Gina K. Design’s Sun-Kissed Autumn stamp set. It’s an older set, but that owl is one of my favorite images. I have to bring him out every fall. I used my copics to color him in. Then I used by stitched circle dies to cut out the panel and matted it with a die-cut brown card stock mat.
The sentiment comes from Lawn Fawn’s Sweater Weather set. I just love the bold font of this sentiment. I stamped it with some brown ink. The leaves come from the same stamp set. I added a bit of shimmer to those with my Wink of Stella pen.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
