Happy Easter Combined Challenges
Hi all,
I’m posting again this week because I have a very special project which I finished today thanks to the snow day we are having. For the first time I’m combining two challenges, Lawnscaping Challenge # 53: Texture and Freshly Made Sketches #76!

I’m also excited to be using this adorable new stamp set from Lawn Fawn which I won during their most recent week of releases!

So without further ado here’s my creation for these two challenges:

For the Lawnscaping challenge I had to include texture on my card, which here can be found on the dots background on the white card stock. I used a Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder to create the texture. I love how these embossing folders can bring such interest to any plain card stock.

To create those three little scenes, I first started with Spellbinder square dies, to figure out the size of square I needed that would fit in a regular size card. I then used my copics to color the sky background area and green copics to create the grassy areas. I then stamped the images and colored in the little chick and the rosy cheeks on the bunny. I loved coloring that little chick yellow just like those cute little peeps you see during Easter season. I then paper pieced the eggs using a scrap piece of patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment using Tempting Turquoise Stampin Up ink onto a white strip of card stock. Finally I took some white pearls and colored them with a blue coordinating copic marker. The little panels are on the card with foam tape for some dimension. I’m really pleased with how this came out!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
