Happy Easter Bunny
This week I was able to make a card for one of the StampTV challenges. This one was a sketch challenge, which was great timing because I really needed some inspiration. This sketch was a great one.

Here’s the card I created just in time for Easter.

I love this adorable little bunny. It’s challenging creating a focal when you have a small stamp, but if you add the sentiment with the image and have the image matted on some layers, you can make the focal appear a lot larger. I colored her in with some copics.

I also love the technique of matting a beautiful piece of patterned paper with either white, black, or brown cardstock with a thin edge around the piece. It really makes the patterned paper pop. I added the teal ribbon which has a little bit of ruffles on it. So fun!
On another note, I’ve discovered that you can find papercrafting supplies on Amazon! And even better, I happen to have an Amazon rewards credit card, so I earn points when I use my credit card which I can then redeem on Amazon. Sweet! This way I can “buy” things without breaking my goal of not spending money on new stash. Is that cheating? What do you think?
Total Purchasing Tally this week: $0, but I ordered five new stamp sets with my Amazon points!
