Graduation Card
Hi all,
I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend with family and friends. It’s hard to believe there’s only about a month left to the school year, yikes! And very soon there will lots of new graduates celebrating their hard work. So today I have a graduation card, perfect for those college graduates especially.

I dug into my stash of leftover papers and older stamp sets to create this card. I love the color combo with those patterned papers from Lawn Fawn’s Dewey Decimal collection. For the image and sentiments I used an older stamp set from My Favorite Things, Inspired by Knowledge. I added the copper brad to embellish the graduation cap. The label shape was created using my Designer Labels 4 dies from My Favorite Things, also an older die set. It’s nice to brush up some of the oldies from your stash and still be able to create a nice new card.

Here’s a close up of the focal image. I also inked the edges of the label a bit with some brown ink. Finally I used some foam tape to adhere the focal to the card for some dimension.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
