FMS #77: Easter Blessings Card
For today’s project I’m using another Freshly Made Sketch. It was the perfect sketch for this Easter card.
Aren’t those patterned papers gorgeous!? They come from HOTP Heritage Backgroundscollection. It has beautiful papers like these and also a sheet of coordinating tags you can easily cut out. I matted the different pieces with some dark brown card stock.
For the image I used the In His Name stamp set from Our Craft Lounge, which is sadly closing its doors. It’s too bad they are closing, they had beautiful stamp sets that are great quality too. I paper pieced the inside area of the cross with the same paper on the background. The sentiment is from another set from the same company called Prayers & Blessings. These two sets coordinate nicely together. I know I will be using them for years to come. They just make such pretty Easter cards.
For the bottom border I matted the patterned paper strip from the same paper collection onto brown card stock and then wrapped the twine around it. The button is made out of patterned paper using the Martha Stewart button punch which also embosses and then I inked it a bit. I really like how this one turned out.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
