Easter Eggs Card
Easter comes earlier this year so it’s time to pull out all of those Easter and spring supplies to create some springy cards, like this one for example.
This card is will hopefully encourage you to dig deep into your old supplies and give them new life. That’s precisely what I did with this card. The eggs were creating an old G studios set of stamps. These are very inexpensive stamps that you can find at the larger craft stores like Michaels and A.C. Moore. When I started creating cards these little G Studios stamps were a quick and inexpensive way for me to build up a stash as I developed my skills. Long after years of crafting though they are still fun to pull out and play with.
As you can see in this close up the designs on these eggs were little pretty and they are a lot of fun to stamp using different inks. I added some green rhinestones to add some texture and shine. For the sentiment I used a wood stamp, another oldie from my stash. I stamped it onto the label shape and added the piece onto the card with foam tape for some additional dimension.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
