Easter Blessings Card
Spring has certainly sprung in my neck of the woods this week. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous and the flowering trees are beginning to bloom. Of course a big part of the spring season is celebrating Easter. So here’s another Easter card for you.
This card captures the more religious celebration of Easter with the focal image being a cross, instead of the more whimsical bunny rabbits and easter eggs, which are also fun to use when creating cards during this time of year. I love the floral patterns and the color combo of the patterned papers on this one, which come from the Ultimate Floral Pack from Hot Off The Press. Although they don’t seem to have it anymore. This is definitely using up my stash.
The focal image and the sentiment come from two stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge, a company that is new to me. These are clear stamps and I must say the quality of these is just great! I colored the image in using copics. I also used Spellbinders dies to cut the images into the oval and scalloped oval shapes.
Purchasing total for this week: $0. (Although I do have to stock up again on blank cards and glue).
Thanks for stopping by!
