Butterfly Sympathy Card
Hi all,
Sympathy cards are some of the hardest cards to make for me. Cardmaking is a fun activity for me and I guess it feels kind of odd to think of sympathy cards as something fun, given the somber occasion these are usually used for. Nonetheless, I must admit, that I enjoyed making this card, purely for its simplicity and beauty.

Don’t you just love those beautiful butterflies? They are part of that patterned paper which comes from the 6×6 Gabrielle paper pad by Bo Bunny.

For the sentiment I used Gina K. Design’s Stippled Nature set. I stamped it onto a coordinating piece of patterned paper. I then used Spellbinder’s Grommet Tags dies to cut it into the shape and added the copper brads. In just a few steps I was able to create an elegant sympathy card.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for stopping by!
