Bookmark SSS September 2014 Kit
When I first saw the September kit from Simon Says Stamp I immediately thought of bookmarks. Not only are the stamps perfect for bookmarks, but some of the patterned papers as well.
This was super easy to put together. I created the bookmark itself using the Mark Your Spot bookmark die from Taylored Expressions. First I cut it out of kraft card stock and then I cut it out of the patterned paper from the kit. When I glue the two together it makes for a sturdy bookmark.
The strip in the center comes from one of the patterned papers. The paper has three vertical rows of different vintage looking storybook images, perfect for this project. I cut the strip down to fit and inked the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.
Finally, I added some ribbon to the top of the bookmark, a small piece left in my stash, and the project was done.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
