Birthday Boy Dinosaur Card
Do you ever have a product inspire your project layout? In my stash this week it was this adorable dinosaur stamp set from Paper Wishes.
I’d also been using the birthday papers which include these great sheets of cut outs and I had a “birthday boy” cut out piece left over. Well I don’t have a son to use it on for a scrapbook page so I decided to create a birthday card instead. Here it is.
I stamped the dinosaur on some scaly patterned paper scraps I had in my stash which I got ages ago from when I used to be a member of the Paper Wishes Card Maker’s Personal Shopper Club. It was an awesome club, but I had to make a choice between that one and the one for scrapbooking and I chose the latter. The scaly patterns were perfect for the dinosaur!
I colored his spots and tummy with orange smooch ink. It was my first time using smooches and I think I’m in love! The patterned paper on the card is from the birthday set and I finished it off stamping the little bones along the side. I had so much fun making it. This card is available in my Etsy shop and I hope whoever ultimately receives it enjoys it as much as I did making it.
