Big Books Card SSS September 2014 Kit

Hi all,

Today I’m sharing the first project I created with the September 2014 kit from Simon Says Stamp, a birthday card for my daughter.

When I showed her the stamp set when the kit arrived she demanded a birthday card with the “I like big books” stamp.  She’s an avid reader so this whole set was right up her alley.  I used the card stock and papers from the kit.

For the focal I stamped a number of images from the stamp set with different Memento Luxe inks.  The “great page” tab is from the sticker sheet included in the kit.  Finally I inked the edges and used my Wink of Stella on the stack of books and that was it.  The birthday wishes are on the inside of the card.
