All Occasion Love Floral Card
The temperatures are finally getting a bit warmer here in New England. Spring is definitely near. In that spirit I’m sharing an all occasion love card that features a gorgeous floral focal.
For this project I used the Delightful Dahlia Additions by Papertrey Ink and the coordinating dies. This is one of those three step stamps where you progressively create the depth in the flowers with each separate stamp to create the complete image. I have to tell you it was tricky for me to align each stamp with the image and get it to stamp just right. I almost gave up. But I’m so glad I didn’t. I used a combination of pink inks from my stash. For the leaves I stuck to just one layer, kept it simple. The final touch to the flowers were the pink rhinestones.
With such an elaborate focal image the rest of the card was pretty simple. I stamped the sentiment with coordinating pink inks onto the white panel and added the whole thing to a pink card stock base. I love the sentiment on this one because it could work for so many different occasions including Mother’s Day (from Mom to Daughter, or vice versa), Birthdays, Encouragement, or even an Anniversary.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
