Scrapbook Sunday: A Day in the City

Happy Sunday, everyone

Today I have a double page spread of a day in New York City, memories from when my daughter was 4 years old.

A Day in the City Scrapbook Page 2

These were really simple pages to put together. I used the Robin’s Red papers from Hot Off the Press.  With such beautiful papers I didn’t do much embellishing.  I jsut matted those fun beautiful photos, used red stickers for the title, added some journaling, and finished it off with some ribbon.  Clean and simple but still effective.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Scrapbook Sunday: Playing in Central Park

Hi all,

Happy Sunday!  I hope another scrapbook page for you today, still slowly making my way through my 2004 album and enjoying remembering those beautiful moments when my daughter was just 4 years old.  Here’s one winter day playing in Central Park.

Playing in Central Park Scrapbook Page

This page came together fairly quickly thanks to those great papers from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The collection is actually a summer set, but I just thought the blues in the photo and the blues on the paper went together so nicely.

For embellishments and for the title I used these great Burlap stickers.  I just die-cut a piece of white card stock and hand wrote the title and glued it to the center of the burlap circle.  I then die-cut a few hearts from red card stock, used my Wink of Stella to add a bit of shimmer and glued those to the burlap as well.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Scrapbook Sunday: To Lela’s House

Hi all,

Welcome to another Scrapbook Sunday where I share a recently made scrapbook page.  Today’s page features photos of my daughter when she was around 4 years old getting herself ready to go visit her grandmother or “Lela” has she calls her.

Those beautiful papers come from the September 2014 Personal Shopper Scrapbooking Kit from Paperwishes.  With such a beautiful background it’s easy to create a very pretty page.

For embellishments I went into my stash of dazzles.  These are from an older floral set.  I backed these with some of the patterned paper from the same collection.

Page titles are always the most difficult for me to figure out.  For this one I used the Designer Labels 4 set from My Favorite Things.  This is also an older set of dies.  I hand wrote the title.  I’m not that crazy about my handwriting but if I can’t find the right size letters in my stash to use then I resort to my own handwriting.  I added a couple more floral dazzles and was done.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
