Kids Easter Card

by egarcia on March 13, 2018

Hi all,

It’s a snow day today and Spring is just a few days away.  What better day then to share a bright and cute Easter card.  Maybe it’ll help get the message to Mother Nature that it’s time to bring out the warmer weather and pretty colors.

I started out with Passionate Pink card stock for the card base from Gina K. Designs.  Love, love her card stock.  The patterned paper is from Doodle Bug’s Easter Express collection.  The great thing about Doodle Bug is that they include full sheets of great cut outs that work great as focals for your cards, which is where that adorable image comes from.

For the sentiment I stamped Happy Easter from Lawn Fawn’s Happy Happy Happy stamp set and the Happy Happy Happy add on set.  I used Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.  I love the oxide inks because they’re great not only for typical distress ink techniques but also for stamping sentiments and solid images.  To embellish I added the yellow enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
